Google Cloud Search is accessible in the nine-dot menu on the top right (need to scroll down a bit). In cloud search, you can search Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar, and more all at once.
If you need to gather information on a student, you can search there and find their documents and any emails about them, or if you need all the info on an event, you can search that.
