Greenwood College School owns both domains, greenwoodcollege.com and greenwoodcollege.org.
As a not-for-profit organization, the school's website and communication (i.e. your email) will go out as .ORG. Messages sent to both .COM and .ORG emails will still arrive in your inbox. However, the administrative accounts used to log into our Google is must use .COM. Therefore, when you log into Google, please use your firstname.lastname@greenwoodcollege.com (.COM) username.
Does IT plan to make it all .ORG?
Yes, IT is making plans to consolidate login and emails to .ORG. Because of the complexity and number of apps connected to .COM, it is still many months away. Stay tuned.
